Halloween is Saturday, so this is the last quiet stretch before it. This is the midweek edition, Monday to Wednesday. The weekend lands in Thursday's issue.
IF YOU DO ONE THING
Race a puzzle and a pumpkin pie at Couch Dog on Monday.
Geya Jenda's monthly drag speed puzzling night has an October twist. After a drag number to open, every team works the same 500-piece puzzle, and every team also gets an 8-inch pumpkin pie to finish. The clock only stops when the puzzle and the pie are both done. The winning team gets a Couch Dog gift card, and everyone on it gets a mystery prize from Geya. Only one person per team needs to register.
Monday, October 26 · 6 to 8 PM · Couch Dog Brewing Co., 76 Lafayette Street · $45 per team of up to four
